Water Leak Repair in Dubai
A dripping pipe under the floor or a damp patch spreading across your ceiling is not going to fix itself. The longer a water leak runs, the more it damages everything around it — plasterboard, timber, flooring, electrical conduit. Fix On Click locates the leak using thermal imaging, acoustic sensors or tracer gas, then fixes it properly. No guesswork, no unnecessary wall-breaking, no hidden charges.

Why Water Leaks Need Fast Attention
Water does not stay where it lands. Once it finds a gap — a crack in a pipe joint, a failed seal, a corroded section of copper — it spreads into whatever material is nearby. Plasterboard absorbs it and starts to break down. Timber swells, softens and eventually rots. If it reaches electrical conduit, the risk level changes entirely.
The problem with most leaks in Dubai's buildings is that they are hidden. Pipes run inside walls, under screeded floors and above suspended ceilings. A leak can run for weeks before anything visible appears — and by the time there is a stain on the ceiling or a soft patch on the floor, the damage behind the surface is already significant.
What makes it worse is that water follows the path of least resistance, which means the visible sign of a leak is often nowhere near the actual source. Finding the source accurately — not guessing and opening walls — is what separates a proper leak repair from a temporary patch job that calls you back in three months.

What Causes Water Leaks in Dubai?
Dubai's buildings face a specific set of conditions that make water leaks more common than many property owners expect — from the water chemistry to the way buildings are constructed and maintained.
Ageing Pipes
Many buildings in Dubai — particularly those over ten years old — have copper or galvanized steel pipe runs that have been subject to years of high water pressure, chlorinated supply water and temperature cycling between the hot ambient air and cold supplied water. Pinhole corrosion is common and can go undetected for months.
Failed Pipe Joints
Push-fit, compression and soldered joints all rely on a seal that can fail over time — particularly where the pipe vibrates, where water pressure fluctuates, or where the joint was not fitted correctly in the first place. A joint that seeps very slowly may not show up until the surrounding material is already damaged.
Appliance Connections
Washing machines, dishwashers, water heaters and under-sink filter units all have flexible hose connections that degrade faster than rigid pipework. The braided steel outer layer may look fine while the inner rubber liner has cracked. These are one of the more common sources of sudden water damage in residential units.
Building & Waterproofing Defects
Roof terrace waterproofing, bathroom wet area membranes and expansion joint sealants all have a service life. When they fail — through UV degradation, settlement cracking or poor original installation — water finds its way into the structure. In high-rise buildings, this can travel down through multiple floors before showing up on a ceiling.
Signs You Have a Water Leak
Many leaks do not announce themselves with a puddle on the floor. These are the signals worth paying attention to — especially if more than one is present at the same time.
Rising Water Bill With No Change in Usage
A sudden increase in your water bill when nothing has changed in your household routines is one of the most reliable early indicators of a hidden leak. Even a small continuous drip adds up to significant volume over a billing cycle.
Stains on Walls or Ceilings
Brown or yellow tide marks on a ceiling, or bubbling and flaking paint on a wall, almost always point to moisture that has been there for a while. The stain visible on the surface is typically smaller than the wet area behind it.
Musty or Damp Smell
A persistent musty odour in a room — particularly in a bathroom, kitchen or utility space — suggests moisture trapped somewhere it should not be. In Dubai's climate, concealed moisture can start supporting mold growth within 24 to 48 hours.
Warped or Soft Floor Surfaces
Timber, laminate and vinyl flooring that has begun to buckle, cup or feel soft underfoot is absorbing moisture from below. This typically means a pipe under the screed is leaking, or water from another source is tracking under the floor finish.
Sound of Running Water When All Taps Are Off
If you can hear water moving or hissing inside a wall or under the floor when no fixtures are in use, something is running in the pipework that should not be. This is a strong sign of pressurised pipe leakage rather than a slow seep.
Mold Around Tiles, Skirting or Cabinets
Black or green mold appearing at grout lines, along the base of wall tiles or behind under-sink cabinets is a reliable sign of persistent moisture. A one-off splash dries out — a leak does not, which is why mold keeps returning even after cleaning.
How We Find Hidden Leaks
Finding a leak accurately before opening anything is what separates an efficient repair from a disruptive one. We use three detection methods depending on the type of leak and where it is located.
Thermal Imaging
A thermal camera shows temperature differences across a wall or ceiling surface. Moisture behind the surface is cooler than the dry material around it, which shows up as a distinct cold zone on the thermal image. This is effective for leaks behind walls and above ceilings where the wet area has not yet broken through to the surface. No opening required at the detection stage.
Acoustic Listening
Pressurised water escaping from a crack or joint produces a distinct sound — a hiss or a quiet rushing that travels through the pipe material and into the surrounding structure. Acoustic sensors placed against walls, floors or the pipe itself can detect and triangulate this sound, pinpointing the leak location to within a small area before any access is made.
Tracer Gas Detection
For underground pipes, deeply buried lines or situations where thermal and acoustic methods cannot reach the leak — typically in car parks, external ground pipes or heavily built-up areas — tracer gas is introduced into the pipe under pressure. The gas escapes at the leak point and rises to the surface, where it is detected by a sensitive sensor. This method can locate leaks several metres below ground without excavation until the exact point is confirmed.
Water Leak Repair Cost in Dubai
No surprises, no hidden charges. Here is what you can expect to pay. Final cost is confirmed after the leak is located and before any repair work begins.
Why Fix On Click for Water Leak Repair?
A lot of plumbing services will find a wet spot, break open the nearest wall, and patch whatever they see. That is not leak repair — that is guessing with tools. We locate the source accurately first, then open only what needs to be opened.
Find It Before Opening It
Thermal imaging, acoustic sensors and tracer gas locate the leak source before we open anything. You do not end up with three different sections of wall broken open because the first two guesses were wrong.
60+ Vans Across Dubai
One van on standby in every area of Dubai. We reach most locations within the hour. For urgent leaks that are actively damaging the property, that response time matters.
Price Confirmed Before Work
After detecting the leak and assessing the repair scope, we give you the full cost before any work starts. No additions are made without your approval. The pricing table on this page gives you a realistic starting point before we even arrive.
Minimal Surface Damage
We open only the area needed to carry out the repair. After the pipe is fixed, we reinstate the surface — plaster, tile adhesive, screed — as part of the job. We do not leave you with an open wall.
All Pipe Materials Handled
PPR, PEX, copper, galvanised steel, CPVC — we work on all the pipe types found in Dubai's residential and commercial buildings. The repair method is matched to the material, not applied generically.
Residential and Commercial
We handle leaks in apartments, villas, offices, retail units and commercial buildings. High-rise water damage — where a leak on one floor causes damage to several floors below — requires fast mobilisation, which our van network supports.
Root Cause Fixed, Not Masked
A patch over a corroded section or a temporary sealant applied to a failed joint is not a repair — it is a delay. We replace the faulty section with the correct material and fitting so the repair holds.
Transparent Throughout
We tell you what we found, why it failed, what the repair involves and what it costs — before we start. No hidden fees, no rushed jobs, no low-quality patchwork that brings us back in six months.
